Concept
- Developed as the new standard in fairway woods.
- Simple head shape, free of unnecessary distractions and design features.
- Providing optimal spin rate through optimal CG positioning.
- Controlled CG positioning using a crown thickness of only 0.6 mm. and ensuring the CG is neither too high nor too low.
- Using a high-strength 455 steel face, laser welded to the body, with a 2.2 mm face thickness, allowing for feel and the ultimate MOI.
- On top of these principles, fine tuning the peripheral weighting for increased MOI and head stability.
- The CG has been pushed deeper by thinning the sole towards the face and thickening it towards the rear.
- Optimal launch and spin rates for a penetrating trajectory.
- Design yields pin point accuracy and distance.
