MT-28V5 Technology
【New Reverse Taper Design】
The signature FOURTEEN “reverse taper design” has been enhanced by adding a groove strategically located in between the club sole and blade portion of the wedge. This allowed the engineers to move the CG to a higher more stabilizing position. Now golfers can execute shots with sheer precision.
【Head Design】
●Sole
The sole portion of the MT-28 V5 Wedge features a flatter shape with a trailing edge and slight heel relief. This new dynamic combination provides any player an opportunity to fully utilize the club’s bounce and execute pure shots out of any type of rough.
●Face
The MT-28 V5 Wedge boasts a rounded leading edge that promotes confidence at the set up or or address. Its clubface has also been highly engineered so that it is easy for the player to control opening or closing the face. Additionally, these high performance wedges feature a professional look that every avid golfer will appreciate.
【Conforming to the New Groove Rule: Utilizing V-shaped Grooves】
Starting in 2010, the USGA has adopted new groove rules. FOURTEEN GOLF has spent the past several years preparing for this amendment. The company has designed its new MT-28 V5 with its new and uniquely shaped trapezoid grooves. The engineers committed themselves to designing the best grooves that met and exceeded the performance factors of the MT-28 V4 and yet complied with the new rules. They met their objective and more.
