The J.SPEC features a straight neck for easy alignment and a “confident” head shape. In addition, even with a depression in the back face, a shorter neck, and a wider sole, there is still no more weight than necessary in the sole. This balanced weight distribution allows for an optimal CG for a smooth swinging club and stable trajectories.

■Sole and bounce
The sole is designed for each individual loft to ensure the wedge does its job “automatically”. The bounce does not get in the way when opening the face.

■Added precision for face flatness with “mirror face” milling

The flatness of the face has been increased even more with “mirror face” milling, taking twice as much time as traditional processes. This improves contact between the face and ball for increased spin together with improved shot stability.

As the key to spin, the process of carving out the grooves one-by-one provides the sharpest edges possible. This allows for extreme spin for approach shots from around the green.
