BR-I/BR-II/BR-III Design Lead, Muneyuki Matsuyoshi

With our fresh new putter designs, putting is believing
We started off the BR putter series development with the goals of making a big head and high MOI, and the smoothest stroke available in a putter. We wanted to make over-sized putter heads that had substantial feel to them without losing a precise sense of alignment.
Oversized putters have a number of merits, which typically include a deep CG and high MOI, as well as giving a mental advantage due to the sense of security provided by the size of the head. But depending on the shape and design, oversized putters can reduce focus and blur the sense of direction and alignment towards the target. This is obviously a drawback.
With the BR-III, we have eliminated this weakness with an easy-to-square toe/heel design made up of three horizontal bars and the narrow face that opens up into a longer back end. The head itself makes an arrow-like shape which helps to focus directly towards the target and also facilitates the highest MOI ever in a neo-mallet putter: 7,700g・cm2!
Actually, the mid-length model of the BR-III has an MOI as high as 8,200g・cm2. If the unique shape of the BR-III is a bit too awkward, then we think that the BR-I or BR-II might be more suitable. Any of the putters in the BR series have all of the excellent features you would want out of a putter?ease of alignment through form design and three-line targeting, high MOI, easy-to-square toe/heel design, smooth and stable stroke via the deep CG. The BR putter series represents the next generation of feature-fusion in putters.
■ BR-I / BR-II / BR-III
By bundling in the deep CG, the easy-to-square/easy-to-stroke toe/heel design into our new putter series, we have raised the bar for putting consistency and eliminated the poor targeting characteristics common with oversized heads. Fourteen is proud to introduce their new deep-CG, high-MOI putter design.

PM-150 Design Lead, Muneyuki Matsuyoshi

The quality and performance of a tour pro putter...just for you
The PM-150 was originally developed as a tour pro prototype model. But since we came up with something as good as we did, we figured that everyone out there should be able to buy one, if at a price.
Putters are typically designed so that the heads can be milled easily and produced in mass quantity. We have taken a different approach, however, with the PM-150. The nature of its shape requires that it take more than twice as long as an average putter head to manufacture, with an extraordinarily fine and precise milling process for carving out gaps and crevices usually not possible. In fact, each retail model is created in the same precise way that a pre-production master model is.
The head does appear to look just like an ordinary putter, but the outer ring of the cavity is milled down especially thick with the center towards the face thinned out to a remarkable level with the precision milling technique. With this we have achieved as high an MOI as putters of its type get and combined with the compact yet solid body, you get a fine-touch, delicate putter with stability and balance.
Also, the face is specially designed with a high strength aluminum compound and a soft 2-layer epoxy insert, giving the perfect balance between solidity and feel. The insert is actually milled separately with a specially designed pattern for true roll. Everything about this PM putter is premium, through and through.
■ PM-150
This putter, call it a fine work of art or masterful engineering, exhibits both beauty and technology in its specially milled body and mallet-caliber MOI. The premium milling and 2-layer insert provide the ultimate in feel, control, and touch. It's worth every penny.
